FINISH THE VERSE: Romans 5

QUESTION: Therefore, since // we have been justified...
ANSWER:  ...by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)

QUESTION: Not only // that,...
ANSWER:  ...but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5)

QUESTION: For while // we were still weak,...
ANSWER:  ...at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)

QUESTION: But God // shows his love...
ANSWER:  ...for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Study Tip: Ask yourself, are you learning SCRIPTURE or QUIZ QUESTIONS? Bible quizzing is certainly a great competition, but our ultimate goal is to really learn the Bible verses we are studying. Be sure as you read through these books, you take the time to make sure you understand what you read. Are there terms you don't understand? Ask your parents, or the coaches. Are there concepts or stories referred that you have not read? Seek them out in the Old Testament! The more you understand what you read, the better you will be able to bring it back later when you need it.
