Question: Blessed // are you...
Answer: ...when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:11-12)

Question: "You are the salt // of the earth... 
Answer: ...But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.  (Matthew 5:13)

Question: "You are the light // of the world...
Answer: ...A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. (Matthew 5:14-15)

Study Tip: Ask yourelf, are you learning SCRIPTURE or QUIZ QUESTIONS? Bible quizzing is certainly a great competition, but our ultimate goal is to really learn the Bible verses we are studying. Be sure as you read through these books, you take the time to make sure you understand what you read. Are there terms you don't understand? Ask your parents, or the coaches. Are there concepts or stories referred that you have not read? Seek them out in the Old Testament! The more you understand what you read, the better you will be able to bring it back later when you need it.
