What kinds of events are there for Quiz Team?

There are many events available for Quiz Teamers during the year.  The major ones include:

• A weekly practice (for our team, Sunday during Sunday School)
• A monthly Quiz Meet against other teams at a regional EFCA church (CT, NJ, or PA)
• Twice a year, we have a "major" Quiz Meet (with trophies!) in January/February (Midwinter) and April/May (Districts).  These may be overnights, depending on their location.

Besides these, we may have special opportunities for trips (usually after a Quiz Meet) to a local place of historical significance.  Past trips have included the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Hershey Chocolate World!  

(No quiz meets are mandatory.  If you just want to come to the practices, that is fine.  But we encourage teens to come, if their schedules allow.)

Come meet the Coaches on May 20th

On Sunday, May 20, the Coaches of the Monroe Bible Quiz Team will be at Beacon Hill Church's Ministry Fair to present our program to interested teens and parents. Come on out at 9:45 AM (after the first service)! We'll be there until 11 AM, and be ready to answer any and all questions you may have. Coach Mark and Coach Matt are looking forward to meeting you!
